Saturday was the first Spring like day around here and so the kids and I ventured off onto the trail to take a 2-3 mile walk. While on the walk I took some random pictures of nature at it’s finest… here are some of those nature photos I took.
Some tracks from out back of the house are shown in image above, but there were so many around it was hard to capture them all.
An old tree as it appears when you look upwards at it.
And last but not least the beautiful birch trees and clear blue sky!

Of all the days that’s in the week
I dearly love but one day
And that’s the day that comes betwixt
A Saturday and Monday.
Most people are in a factory from nine till five. Their job may be to turn out 263 little circles. At the end of the week they’re three short and somebody has a go at them. On Saturday afternoons they deserve something to go and shout about. ~Rodney Marsh, 1969
Always strive to excel, but only on weekends. ~Richard Rorty
Do tell me, which is your favorite quote I shared today?
I love being near the ocean it’s so beautiful, sure when you go to York Beach in Maine you end up with a crowd of people but I don’t see them nor hear them. All that takes me away is the feeling of the waves hitting my legs and the calm sound of the ocean.
Standing with my kids jumping waves and laughing without a care in the world is what I did all day on Saturday while also stopping to visit York’s Wild Kingdom Zoo. I think time away is just what the doctor ordered because I am back and more confident to face things that need to be faced.
My peace is just the views standing on the sands at York Beach and watching as my children smile the whole day through!
