President Obama addressed the nation and announced that the United States of America had killed Osama Bin Laden. I will be honest that my first thoughts were, “we are in for it now”. The reason being? Well quite frankly we shouldn’t be messing with people who have no care about the life of humans. These people, not meaning all who live in Pakistan, meaning Al Qaeda people.
Let this be a warning, I am nervous as hell, for reals. There may be a retaliation, I don’t wish to see the United States back down on any homeland security that we have in place because that would be an arrogant move on our part.
Just because the leader is dead, doesn’t mean someone else isn’t stepping up to the plate to take his place, it doesn’t mean they won’t retaliate and let’s be quick on investigating as to whether or not the Pakistan government truly knew where Osama Bin Laden was hiding because after all he was hiding in plain site near government locations in Pakistan.
I think we need to also speak to our children, they are seeing media coverage everywhere, let’s talk to them and see what they feel or think, if anything, about this news.
Thank you to our troops and their families for giving their lives to supporting the United States of America and our freedom to be who we are! Soldiers are brave and their families are brave too, I can’t imagine what they have been going through the past 10 years!

I agree…I’m also of the opinion that since most civilized countries found democracy though the blood of its citizens, the blood of our citizens should not be shed to do the work for others who not only dont agree with us, but don’t appreciate us, and even denigrate us.
Every culture is different, let them fight their own battles and make their own choices. They don’t want us there, and we don’t want to be there, and powerful but selfish men are turning the world on its ears as they use us to fight their power struggle battles.
